Verse
Not in the fire, or the earthquake, the wind or breeze,
For Elijah's sake, the Lord spoke with ease,

1 Nephi 8:24
Verse 1
There's a time Lehi of old, saw a man who wore a white robe.
He said, "come follow me," but the way seemed too dark to see.
There are those who have chose to give up when it's rough but Lord, let me be tough.

Through the trials, burdens, wars that wear on, we will hold tight to that rod of iron.
Jesus died for you and me so that when life puts you down,

There are fruit from a tree that will give life eternally.

2 Nephi 33:6
Verse 1
The world shouts in dissonance, but He makes all the difference,
To give a simple answer, redeem me from disaster.
Yet in storms of confusion, they swirl around creating illusions,
Though the complications, the Lord still offers His salvation.

The path for you is made clear, just follow me you will never need fear,
let me be your treasure, and I will carry you forever."

A famine unfolds, but Naomi's faith is anchored strong.
Ruth has been told to stay behind but presses on.
Trouble appears, and I want to stand like Esther;

Proverbs 24:17

Rejoice not when your enemy has fallen.
Glory not when disaster strikes the wicked.
We are called to love our enemies;
To love the way Christ loves.
